Cowboy Rental Batumi
A western wear rental site that sells photo shoots and parties, not just hats.
Challenge
A young rental of cowboy hats, boots, shirts and vests in Batumi, run next to a pony club. It had a Wix site where the catalog took up almost the whole home page, and only a couple of orders from photographers so far. The owner was still filling in the catalog.
What we built
Our first version moved the Wix catalog into a new design, and Alexander turned it down: the home page has to sell a day out, not list hats. We rebuilt it around what people actually come for. The home page now offers five occasions with price tags: a photo shoot with horses, a western party, a wardrobe for photographers, an outfit for rent and a gift certificate.
A quiz, "Which cowboy are you?", builds an outfit from three questions and shows its total, ready to book or to swap items. There are four ready outfits, from the sheriff to the prairie drifter. The wardrobe page holds 45 items by category and an outfit builder: one item for each place, with the total counted at once. A booking comes to the site with the outfit and the total and goes on to WhatsApp.
Behind it there is an admin panel: requests with statuses, the catalog with photos, prices and sizes, a blog with a simple editor, and a Telegram bot for new requests. The design is a dark "saddle night" with sand and a rusty leather accent, a lasso and tags with prices.
How it went
The request came on the evening of 1 November. The first version was turned down within the hour, and the second one, built on a plan of who buys what and where they come from, was ready the same evening. On 2 November we added the admin panel, the blog with its first article and the bot, then checked the site for security, search and speed. The prices of the packages are our proposal and are agreed with the owner. The site was made for free in exchange for a review.
Result
The site is ready and runs on a demo address while the owner decides whether to stay with us for hosting and support or to host it herself. A second article, on safety at a photo shoot with a horse, went up through the admin panel on the day the site was handed over.
Photos: the owner's own; stock photos and pictures with an AI watermark from the old site were left out.
